Last Monday, because I didn't have to work (unfortunately Sal had school) my whole side of the family went out to Irvine Park. Okay, you any of have never been there, you need to go. It is HUGE and really nice. They have little lakes, playgrounds, a zoo, a train, pony rides and so much more. We had a blast. We stayed there for 4 1/2 hours! Let's just say it was a long but fun day!
This picture of Kate I have to explain! So when we first got to the park, she was playing and climbing on this huge tree trunk and she fell. It was huge but she got a minor scrape. Well, it turned out to be this BIG ordeal (there wasn't even blood). After putting a couple of band-aids (because for Kate, a band aid fixes EVERYTHING), she was fine. However, every where we went she would hold her side just to let us all know she had an owee. She would be playing and laughing and then all of a sudden, she would just start holding her side but still playing and laughing. By the end of the day, we were calling it her gun shot wound!
I just LOVE this picture!! He wanted to walk but still wanted to hold grandma's hand. It brought tears to my eyes!
