The Loss of a friend
On a daily basis, Salvador is sad about something. He didn't get gum, I won't let him have ice cream at 9:00 in the morning, he has to color instead of watch cartoons, many things set off his little attitudes. Today, he had to go to the bathroom. He is very capable of going number one all by himself but for some reason he wanted me in there. I was taking care of Samuel, so I told him to go in by himself and I would be there in a minute. As he is sulking to the bathroom, I hear him tell me, "I'm not your best friend anymore." I had to laugh! I guess I lost my best friend! I need to find a new one!

Crazy hair and Crazy hands
So Samuel was born with a full head of black hair and it has yet to go away. I absolutely LOVE IT! However, I have no clue what to do with it. I try to spike it but then after 10 minutes, half is spiked and half is laying flat. I try to bring out the curls, but they go straight after 10 minutes. I also try to brush it flat, but the back part won't lay flat. So, most days he just has crazy hair.

What it normally looks like. You can't really see the hair that sticks straight up but it is there.

An attempt at curls.

Pony tails. Just in case I never have a girl, at least I can have a kid who can wear pony tails. He has a mullet, which will be getting cut. Notice, it is in a ponytail.
Salvador decided to trace my hands. I think I have the next Picasso on my hands. Now I know I am a little on the chubby side, but I guess I didn't realize how big my hands were.

Samuel's blessing
We were lucky to have Sal's brother fly in from Colorado for Samuel's blessing day. It was wonderful and Sal gave a simple blessing that was absolutely beautiful. In the circle was: Sal, Sal's brother, my brother, my brother in law, my dad and Sal's dad. We then had a little get together at my sister's house afterwards complete with yummy homemade mexican food (except for the gringo guacamole prepared by my sister. But it is the best guacamole!).

My parents and brother were there but they left early because they had to return to their own wards to teach.

So much has gone on in the last month since I have posted but I am not going to play catch up. Although I love these last two pictures. I was just curious on how my boys would look as blondes!
